1About this Notice
This Notice explains how Andromeda Bridge Corporation Limited (operating as “Spike”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Spike App and the Spike website. It supplements the Spike Privacy Notice.
2What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website or use a mobile application. Cookies allow the site or app to recognise your device and remember information about your visit.
Similar technologies include software development kits (SDKs), pixels, web beacons, local storage, and device-identifier APIs. We refer collectively to these as “tracking technologies”.
3Categories of Cookies We Use
3.1Strictly necessary
These tracking technologies are essential for the Spike App and the Spike website to function. Examples: session management, authentication, security, and load balancing. They are deployed on the basis of our legitimate interests and the requirement of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. They are not subject to consent.
3.2Performance and analytics
These help us understand how users interact with the Spike App and the Spike website, including which features are most used, where errors occur, and how to improve performance. We use these only with your consent.
3.3Marketing and attribution
These help us measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and the conversion of users introduced through the Affiliate Programme. We use these only with your consent.
4How to Manage Your Preferences
When you first access the Spike App or the Spike website, we present a cookie preferences interface. You can change your preferences at any time:
- in the Spike App: through Settings > Privacy > Tracking;
- on the Spike website: through the cookie preferences link in the footer; and
- at the device level: by adjusting the privacy settings of your operating system or browser.
Changing your settings may affect the functionality of certain features.
5Third-Party Cookies
Some of the tracking technologies we use are operated by third parties (such as analytics or attribution providers). Those third parties act as independent data controllers in respect of the data they collect through their own cookies, except where they act as our processors. Where a third party acts as a processor, it processes data only on our instructions.
6Cookie List
A current list of the specific cookies and tracking technologies we use, including the provider, purpose, retention period, and category, is published on the Spike website and is updated from time to time.
7Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. The current version is identified by version number and effective date.
